The Philippines had one of the longest lockdowns globally, forcing its schools to close for two years. While some classes were held online, educators were concerned that students who didn't have computers and phones couldn't join in.

For this assignment, I worked with producer Guill Ramos and writer Maria Stöhr to create a feature story about 55-year-old Nancy Calado, a kindergarten teacher from Quezon City who shared how she helped her students cope.
