In the Philippines, owning a piece of land means more than having a place to build a home. For farmers in Davao, Bohol, and Batangas, a land title means being able to send children to school, plant food for the family, and have something to pass on to the next generation.

Commissioned by The Asia Foundation under the Coalitions for Change (CfC) program, I traveled across the country to document Filipino families who have received agricultural free patent titles.
